Alistair McKeough

Director

Alistair specialises in complex commercial matters and disputes requiring careful strategic planning.

His advice is based on an intimate understanding of the commercial implications of matters involving conflict, as well as a rigorous understanding of black letter law.

Alistair has delivered numerous seminars and conference papers and his academic work has been cited in leading text books and by the Court of Appeal of New South Wales.

Alistair holds a Bachelor of Laws and Master of Laws from the University of New South Wales and, prior to joining Morgan Lewis, he worked as an Associate to a Federal Court Judge and at Freehills.

Andrew Crockett

Andrew is a senior practitioner in Morgan Lewis’ commercial litigation team, with particular strength in employment law, administrative law and matters involving statutory interpretation.

After honing his statutory interpretation skills as a researcher and Judge’s Associate at the Federal Court of Australia, Andrew spent four years at the Australian Government Solicitor, where he frequently appeared in matters before the Administrative Appeals Tribunal, Federal Magistrates Court, Federal Court and High Court.

From 2006 to 2007 Andrew was a manager at Qantas Airways Limited, where he led a team which provided interpretative advice about employees’ entitlements under industrial instruments. Andrew then worked at the Australian Securities Exchange as Legal Counsel, Enforcement Unit, ASX Markets Supervision, before joining Morgan Lewis in March 2010.

Through a diverse range of legal experience in the public and private legal sectors Ewa has developed a flexible approach to legal problem solving. Her experience includes large scale discovery in major litigation, general commercial matters and employment disputes.

Ewa holds science and law degrees from the University of Sydney, with first class honours in law. Prior to joining Morgan Lewis she was an intern at the Federal Court of Australia and a paralegal at Maurice Blackburn.
